Lunar Hare T-Shirt
This variant is currently sold out
There a number of mythological traditions that arise from patterning on the moon that looks like a rabbit. In Chinese tales the rabbit makes herbal elixirs for immortality and is a companion of the moon goddess Chang'e. Both Buddhist and Aztec traditions feature a rabbit who sacrifices it's body to feed, and thus gains it's presence on the face of the moon. In Cree legend a rabbit wishes to ride over the moon, and is carried there by a crane. The stories of the rabbit and the moon are linked across time and culture, and this shirt is a celebration of that shared symbolism. The design is hand pulled in water based non-toxic ink on a soft unisex black tee.
