Fennec Design is the collaborative effort of Joelle and Justin Arawjo, a multi-disciplinary project that includes print making, jewelry design, and textile work. Together we hand print and craft our own line of apparel, home goods, and jewelry available online and all over the world in small boutiques. With a combined 15 years of experience in professional screen printing and design we specialize in both fine art and commercial work.

Fueled by a love of the geometric and detailed, Justin is a seasoned artist and printmaker with years of experience in design, illustration, and basket making. He is the driving force behind Fennec's print shop,
Owner, Artist, Jewelry Designer, Office Manager
Joelle is obsessed with natural elements whether they be botanical, animal, or mineral. In addition to being the illustrator behind many of the shop items, she also hand crafts a line of jewelry, and manages the day to day around the Fennec office.
We pride ourselves on using non-toxic, water-based inks, sweatshop-free apparel and environmentally conscious paper goods as the starting point for all of our work. Every item that you see in our store was designed, printed, and packaged in our studio with lots of love and copious amounts of coffee.
Rather than embracing a strict division of labor, we both enjoy the complicated and rewarding challenge of a truly collaborative process. Most of our printed pieces are drawn together, with each artist contributing elements to the overall collage design. Over time we have constructed a visual lexicon that features natural, geometric, and symmetrical elements and pulls from such vast influences as medical illustration, mythology, alchemical etchings and paintings, sacred geometry, and the darker side of Art Nouveau (Clarke and Beardsley) while simultaneously drawing on a nostalgic love and shared interest in punk music. Similarly Joelle's jewelry pieces draw on the rich themes of natural form, symmetry, and the careful incorporation of mineral, botanical, and other organic elements.
While our primary print studio is currently closed to visitors, we do have a small shop space that is open to the public for limited hours and appointments. We are located inside The Millworks, a beautiful Midtown Harrisburg building that contains artist studios, a brewery, and a farm to table restaurant. Stop by, grab a brew, and talk art with us! Even if we aren't open when you visit our work is available for purchase in the main gallery and gift shop.
You can find us by serendipity or you can inquire about our hours and making an appointment via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that we do not currently offer local pick-ups for online purchases.
