Snakes are the symbol of eternity and immortality in many mythologies. The ouroboros, the shedding of old skin, and arising anew are common themes. In contrast, Mistletoe is the downfall of immortal God Baldr in Norse Mythology, the berries formed from his mother's tears. The caveat end to a seemingly endless life. This shirt is designed around opposing forces: death and life, the eternal and the temporal. The intertwining snakes and botanicals are hand printed in white non-toxic water based ink. The tank is a semi sheer, lightweight black colored racerback with a gathered detailing on the back. It has lovely rounded neckline and a loose flowing body that makes for a flattering cut worn alone, or layered with a cardigan or light jacket..
